Daesh women before Iran director lens in Iraq

Iranian director Reza Farahmand  says his new doc features some women linked to Daesh terrorist group in Iraq.

 The documentary titled ‘I Was Fortunate that I Couldn’t Hate’ is at the editing stage, Farahmand told media on Monday, adding his doc captured some female members of Daesh.

The director also noted besides such people, women victimized by Daesh were interviewed by a female reporter.

‘I Was Fortunate that I Couldn’t Hate’ hinges on highlighting women in Daesh war without overlooking children affected in the humanitarian crisis in Iraq.

Farahmand   said feminine narrative of his film has no political or religious slant.

A final note he mentioned was that some of his crew members were injured during filming the project.
